Pomegranate Syrup

Take two on the quest for the best syrup.  I think this one is amazing! 

 I used a beautiful pom wonderful bottle to make this but I am sure if you are ambitious enough you could make the syrup from fresh pomegranates.

Pomegranate syrup

1 cup of pom wonderful

1/2 cup of water

1/2 C Sugar

1/2 C corn Syrup

Stir together in a medium pot and bring to a boil.  Cook, stirring occasionally till the liquid reaches 210 degrees.  Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until thickened.  Turn off heat and allow to cool a little before pouring into a glass container.  Make sure your container is at room temperature or it will crack.  🙂
